Roy Vuorela

Roy Vuorela is our Sound Designer. Roy studied Music and Theatre at Champlain College and has been involved in designing and engineering sound as well as writing and performing original music for several productions in and around Montreal, Hudson and the Eastern Townships for over 20 years. Recent productions include, the Great Gatsby, For the Love of Shakespeare, A Midsummer Nights Dream, No Sex Please, We’re British, The Tempest, and the META award winning Balconville. Roy is pleased to be working with Glen Robinson once again helping to bring to life Clock Master productions fantastic Steampunk Revue, Fessenden Follies.

Karen Burgan

Karen Burgan is our Stage Manager. Karen has been involved with theatre for many years in various capacities whether it is backstage, on stage or producing a play. Selected theatre credits include, Truvy in Steel Magnolias, Celia in Calendar Girls , Lakeshore Players Club,  Ms.Hutchison Whose Wives Are They Anyway Hudson Players Club, Cassie Cooper in Rumors, The Baroness in Aladdin, Momma Bear in Goldilocks And The Three Bears, Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz at Hudson Village Theatre and Marta in Waiting For The Parade, Libby Ruth Ames in Always A Bridesmaid with Stone Soup Productions.  She has also stage managed for Much Ado about Nothing, Jitters, On Golden Pond, End Game, Jack of Diamonds, Hudson Players Club, Blue Suede Shoes, Wife Begins at Forty, Hallelujah Remembering Leonard Cohen for Hudson Village Theatre. Seiji Gutierrez

Seiji Gutierrez started playing guitar at 8 years old. At 10, he began studying the classical guitar. His studies took him through The McGill Conservatory of Music, Vanier College, and McGill University. He began writing for and fronting several bands in his late teens and into his 20s before dropping music to pursue other passions such as graphics and photography. He credits his return to music to meeting JP Vialard at a party in Hudson, where the two spoke about music and McGill. After being approached by JP, Seiji reluctantly agreed to try out for what eventually became El Proyecto Colectivo. Geoff Mitchell

Geoff Mitchell is a resident of Hudson. In addition to the accordion Geoffrey is playing a contemporary version of the Theremin, made by Moog. The Theremin has the distinction of being the only musical instrument that is not controlled by direct touch but by manipulation of electronic capacitance in the air. This instrument is the invention of Leon Theremin (1896-1993), a Russian electronics engineer and inventor well known as one the pioneers of electronics in the early 20th century. Leon Theremin served in the First War World as a radio engineer and in the years following the war developed, amongst other projects, his eponymous instrument that uses a heterodyning technology to  detect relative proximity of a player’s hands to control the pitch and volume of the audio waveform. Chris Gobeil

Production manager Chris Gobeil is a CPA by day as partner in accounting firm Gobeil Dickison LLP, and an artist the rest of the time.  He is a playwright and current president of Playwrights’ Workshop Montreal, and also enjoys acting, singing, and directing.  He also has his own production company, Plaster Elvis Productions, for producing his own work.  Chris says “producing this show has been a pleasure, although production management is a lot like my day job!”

Mark DV Smith

Mark is a percussionist with the local Hudson Band, El Proyecto Colectivo. He has taught drama and directed theatre productions in high schools for the past 20 years. Some of the productions include; Rent, Seussical the Musical, Alice@Wonderland and Grease. This is Mark's first experience with live music on stage and he is excited to see how all the elements of music, acting and dance unite in this unique production of Fessenden's Follies.

Lea Durocher

Set Designer, Lea has been involved in theatre for almost 30 years and is a graduate of John Abbott College's Prof Theatre: design program. In 2019, she will be celebrating 20 years of designing in the Hudson area, most of those with the Hudson Players Club and Hudson Village Theatre. She is thrilled yet again to collaborate with such a great cast, crew, production team and chief whackadoodle-in-charge, Glen on yet another David Fennario piece. 2019 also marks a new beginning for Lea and her store, Centre Decor Hudson, the local Benjamin Moore paint and design shoppe. As of January 1 they will be opening at 521 Main Rd. She looks forward to welcoming everyone into her wee shoppe. Elizabeth Harwood

Elizabeth is thrilled to accept the role of Publicity Team Member for this exciting piece of Theatre by the brilliant David Fennario and with the extremely generous and dedicated Director Glen Robinson. Active in Hudson Players Club for over 5 years both as publicity Chair and now President. Elizabeth has also been producing productions with the Hudson players club as Co Producer for META nominated The Great Gatsby and as Procedure for Meta Winner Balconville. It is an honour to be a part of this outstanding team.

Valerie Provost

Valerie Provost is a professional photographer living St-Lazare, QC. In 1992, She graduated from Montreal's Dawson College with a DEC in photography. She went on to study and earn an AEC in computer graphic arts from College Inter-Dec in 1994. After 2 years assisting some of Montreal’s best commercial photographers, Valerie embarked in her own commercial career, shooting advertising, corporate and industrial photography from a shared studio on rue St-Patrick in Montreal. Her editorial work has been published in Footwear Plus Magazine, Ou Magazine, Fugues, Salon Magazine, Photo District News, Huf Magazine, Guitar Magazine, Les Musts a Montreal and others. She has exhibited her work at Dazibao, Espace Ephemere and online for Women in Photography. She currently specializes in editorial and advertising photography with an emphasis on creative portraiture.
